@pepsi42327 Thank you :) We love tempura too, as a matter of fact it was just the wife's birthday and we went out to our favoriate Japanese resturaunt and both of us ordered tempura! And some other things too of course... (sushi) :D

@TheJapanfoodchannel I forgot to ask; what kind of oil do you use? I was thinking of using peanut oil, but I not sure.

@TalibanTime We always go with pure vegetable oil while in the USA and when we're in Japan we use what many Japanese people use Canola in Japan - we've never used peanut oil so we're not sure how it would turn out. If you do decide to use peanut oil let us know how it turns out but to be on the safe side we recommend vegetable oil :)
