@RaMoSs40 It's nothing to do with France being "awesome" or whatever, but wanting to place an order in under 20 minutes has nothing to do with French culture, or rushing, and everything to do with bad service (it wasn't even busy at the time). I've been to many restaurants throughout France, have French friends, and study French so I know this isn't a cultural thing. There were people there getting served almost straight away without asking. Also as I said, the food is poor.

@RobertNicholls in france, lunch time is respected. its part of their culture not to hurry food and to sit down for a while and enjoy. don't get mad if they dont get on it right away. it is disrespectful to be in a hurry while eating. im sorry you didnt like it though. france is awesome

DO NOT GO HERE. Four of us went when it wasn't even busy and it took them 20 minutes to ask us for our order. When we did the food was shocking, honestly, I know it's cheep but the quality was appalling. Tasteless lukewarm food that had clearly been standing for hours.

the absolute worst food i have eaten in a restaurant, we ordered our food and drinks and within 2 minutes both our drinks and food were on the table!! thats fast food!!
Chartier is one place in Paris i would never recommend.
