Grape Networks, Inc. is a Wireless Sensor Networking company which incorporates Sensor Networks, GIS, DBMS and MEMS sensors in its platform.
With Grape Networks' management platform, the Environment, Water and the Micro Climate are monitored anywhere in the World via the Internet. Thresholds are established using the Internet with a mobile phone or other Internet enabled wireless device.
The Company was incorporated as a Delaware corporation in 2004 and has offices in the United States, France Germany and Distribution in Australia.
The Wireless Sensor Networks' technology evolved from government grants to universities, principally from DARPA, to track vehicles and personnel in an open field. Grape Networks is applying the use of Wireless Sensor Networks for water and environmental monitoring for Agriculture, open Fields and Deserts. Recently the Company has expanded into other markets where Wireless Sensor Network provides a logical low cost mobile solution.
