It's just what came from the supplier.
It's probably warmer in the US so the mesh will help keep it cooler.
In the UK we use our computers to keep us warm, because of the horrid weather lol

Nice I bought a stock PC Medion £600
Upgraded everything cept the i5 because that was pretty much new at the time cost £600 for the stock added Giga mobo, ATI 6970 8gb of Crucial ram, HAF 932 Coolmaster, Corsair 800watt Pretty nice for bout £800

I don't know as I don't own one. The core I7 920 which I bought as a kit came with thermal compound pre-applied.
