Give Hornady a try. Red H is the only brand ill put down my barrel. you won't be disappointed!

NATO should ditch .308 for the .300WM as it's standard .30 caliber round.
-
I would be more generous than 450 yards.

@isamtator A 30-06 is a good round but a .300 min mag is way better you can shoot longer ranges! I've got a 30-06 and have taken alot of deer with it but if im going to shoot long ranges im goin to take my .300 win mag browning a-bolt medallion and take a deer down at 1000 yards easily! Alot of people talk about how a .308 is the best round on the planet but it's only good for about 450 yards!

Ha the 300 win mag is a little big for an antelope... People use this rifle for moose and bear protection. You can it for african game excluding the larger game. Most 180 grain 300 win mag bullets are moving around 3100 feet per second equaling 3,893 ft·lbf.

@Wheels1974 The largest land mammal on Earth is not an elephant, it's Roseanne.
-
those aren't 300 win mag "bullets", that's ammunition son. :)
-
Remember 2 things: Firstly the largest land mammal on Earth is the African Elephant.
Secondly the great W.D.M Bell aka (Karamajo Bell) killed 1011 Elephants using his trusty 7x57 Mauser with 173 grain Military Ammunition and he fired a average of 1.5 shots per kill. This means that over 500 Elephants were killed using 1 bullet.
I rest my case, Happy hunting ALL.

I have no idea why a great deal of Americans use huge calibers when hunting Big Game.
Over the years I have watched a ton of big game African videos and the vast majority use .416 Rigby and also the 3 NITRO Express calibers, such as .450, .470 & .500 and they end up firing multiple rounds to try drop the anima, very few are 1 shot kills.
I strongly believe that the .375 H&H is as big as anyone needs to go for any animal on Earth.

I have hunted here in Australia, North America and my favorite Africa (Zambia) I have a .300 Win Mag and it would have to be one of the best all round calibers ever made.
With my .300 WM I have hunted everything from Grysbok, hippo, Lion to African Cape Buffalo not 1 but ALL 3 of my Cape Buffs were taken using 220 grain Woodliegh projectiles, all 1 shot kills and the last Cape Buff was shot 209 meters away and he didn't take a step. It all comes down to bullet placement.
You're planning on eating yotes? Are you Korean?

@TacticalKarma Not korean. Actually, I don't hunt coyotes that often. I am for sure not going to leave anything that i can use out in the field though. If I were to take one, I would obviously take it's pelt and then go ahead and get the meat. It is a huge waste and somewhat un-ethical to just kill something and not use all that you can.

hey man thanks for the video! i was looking for a new big bore rifle i was thinking out of 308 or 300 win mag what do you think? i do alot of long range shooting thanks mate. keep posting!

thanks. I would personally choose the .308 because of the cost of ammo. I dont know exactly how far your going to be shooting but if your talking more than 650 yards I would actually take the 300win mag. Anything under that I would go .308

a 30-06 for coyote? your retarded and you dont eat coyote you take the hide and .300 is too big for antelope.

@subwoofer55 ... I dont even know how to respond to you. I know atleast 20 hunters that use 30 cal guns for coyote and then eat the meat. I also know some hunters that use a 300Win mag for antelope.
