I felt, because I was proud to be a Syrian National, to visit my country, after 28 years of being away residing in another country. I hate to say I feel ashamed of some, maybe most of the people that work particularly in the airport. I was welcomed with disappointment and I was greeted with disappointment the time I left. The passport employee insited that he wanted $10 to overrule his own rules and I was not in violation.

Second, the bathrooms was extremely dirty with cocroaches and employee was collecting money to hand out napkins, obviously she did not have a job to clean the bathrooms.

the workers are doing their best at cleaning up after everyone. I see them all the time and may God bless them. We visit Syria almost every summer...love it. love it . love it. If everyone teaches his kids to clean up after themselves instead of throwing trash on the floor then we have a cleaner Syria from airport to streets. When people pay fines at other countries for littering they learn to clean up after themselves. Syria is our homeland...I don't charge my kids to clean their bedrooms/ home

@Boojaffar well its not very suprising since lots of airport toilets r dirty and when i went 2 turky we stopped of there guess what there was also a lady handing out napkins and this might not suprise u but the toilets were dirty 2
