This always makes me think of writing or studying by candlelight in an upstairs room of an old-fashioned wooden house, on a winter night with a slow, steady rain outside.

What I would give for a Final Fantasy IX remake... Modern RPGs just don't give me the same feelings as the Super Nintendo, PS1, and PS2 era, but maybe going back to the classics with modern tech would give me hope for the future. Really all I want is improved graphics, maybe the ability to move the camera around, and a little extra content and tying up loose ends, don't even bother changing the battle system. If only the little kids playing shooters all the time appreciated games like these.

@Honatuto Even though IX is the best FF if you ask me, I've always felt a little let down with how little it does with most of the characters outside of Vivi, Zidane and Garnet (possibly Steiner too). But there was a whole fuckton of potential with Freya in particular that didn't get used. Sad.

I'm SO ANNOYED at how badly Freya got shafted storyline wise. Everything she touches turns to ruin, and her true love? Completely forgets her. Barely gets any screen time in the ending, either.
If Amarant wasn't any worse off, I'd be rather ticked at Square. But screw Amarant. He seems so thrown-in.
