  • Oh if only June would come to Australia just once. I'd crawl over broken glass all the way to Perth to see her.

  • This is such a moving song: I did just this when I was small - picked a bunch of irises in my neighbour's garden because I loved them. I still remember hiding them under my bed, and being marched back to apologise!

    And now I'm a gardener!

June Tabor sings how I think, and is amazing - I saw her live in Brighton recently with the Oyster Band. What a voice, and what a band - it was great.

  • @alexjblyth mine too...first June Tabor cd I bought

  • Such a haunting song. It says so much.

  • One of my "Desert Island Discs"...and so happy to see it here. Thank you.

  • One of the most beautiful songs in the world. Written by Maggie Holland and Jon Moore.

  • Beautiful, thank you.

  • Thanks for all the June Tabor videos you've been posting.
