These comments about needing clean comedy are making me numb. Steve Martin is brilliant but he does blue, too. Check out his albums from the 70's. "Grandpa bought a rubber".
And these days you can find great stand up from "clean" (Brian Regan) and "dirty" (Louis C.K.) folks.

you should check out a comedian from liverpool called ken dodd.his live shows go on for 3 hours plus.

Yeah, more comedians need to be like this! Not once did he have a sexual joke or had to say something that would make people feel uncomfortable. I think the best comedians are ones who can be funny while being clean with their material!
