byron bay isnt known as the hippy town of nsw. nimbin is.

yeah i know!! nnimbin is a hippy town, and I got one doco ready about nimbin! (I'm making a documentary about australia in order to broadcast in france) But byron bay is a bit more popular and is quite hippy/tourist too!

@betterman80 Totally agreed, i used to do the shopping well before any public holidays, now it's just like one long public holiday.

Lennox has been put up a few notches as far as rent etc goes.

We lived @ Cabarita for quite a while and now it has become soooo popular, it was a place everyone just used to pass by. I S'pose it's good and bad.

Byron was a great place but is now way too crowded and also full of posers and try-hards. I find Yamba and Lennox Heads a more relaxing place and Snapper rocks or D-Bar for surf.

yeah iv lived in byron area my whole life... al i know is touros take our jobs, litter our home, and make everything alot les hippy. mullum is the hippy town anyway. hippies(not yippies(yuppi-hippi) have bailed and mostly live in the hillsAWAY from touros.

i cant surf. but i can pick up rubish when i see iton the ground and put itin bin, i can also not brake glas botles inthe ST, and i can support local indestries rather than comercial tree of life.REMEMBER YOUR JUST VISITING HAVESOME RESPECT!

After what I know now, Byron Bay is off my list to visit, full of greenies, even the fucking council is greenies!

Make the best of it, the economy is going to shit, money is running out, the climate change scaremongering isn't working anymore.
