911 Never Forget Coalition: Rally: !2/5 Rally Against NYC Terror Trial: Q&A

At a press conference today, family members of relatives lost in the Islamic terrorist attacks of 911 and first responders who were part of the resuce and reovery at the WTC on the day of the attack which killed 3,000 people, announced a national campaign to stop the Obama administration from bringing Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and his four 911 barbarian co-sonspirators to the US for trial in Federal court. Over 120,000 people (and counting) have signed a petition to stop this obamanation.

Why are military tribunals so vilified? What most people do not realize is that every day American citizens stand before military tribunals. Who are these citizens? That would be fine IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE FACT that the very nature of terrorists is that they LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING. Point being it doesn't matter if you ask a gabillion million questions. What a travesty for Rep. Peter King to have the unbelievable gall to comment on terrorism and terrorists! King was for years one of the most vociferous supporters of the world's oldest terrorist organization, the IRA, and a leading member of the coalition in the House trying to prevent the rarification of a treaty to return convicted but escaped IRA murderers back to the UK.

The response to an act of war should be military, including military courts. And it should be directed against countries, not against a tactic such as "terrorism." This man is not an American citizen; and he should not be given the opportunity to spout his nonsense and access to US military intelligence. To try the 9/11 terrorists as criminals is wrong in principle, and tremendously dangerous.

I'm not for a military court. Should the trial be held in NY, I don't know. I do believe it should be in a federal court and completely open to the public. I do want to hear the testimony of the ALLEGED CONSPIRATORS. There are tensions in this decision but we must keep justice in our courts.
