Lawyers Have Heart is a 10K Run and Fun Walk that raises funds for the research & community education programs of the Greater Washington Region affiliate of the American Heart Association. Over 5000 walkers and runners hit the streets of the Washington Harbour at Georgetown for the 20th Anniversary Lawyers Have Heart 10K Run and Fun Walk in support of the American Heart Association. The race was co-founded in 1991 by Richard Frank, Founder and Senior Principal of Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Bode Matz PC and Alan Charles Raul, Partner at Sidley Austin, LLP as a way the Washington legal community could unite annually in support of the AHA, fighting diseases which significantly impact their profession. If you couldn't make it out there, it is not too late to make a donation to fight cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Visit www.lawyershaveheart.org.
Since 1991, the event has raised over $7 million and has featured many DC area private & government lawyers, members of the Administration, Congress, and Judiciary, legal assistants, law firm administrators, legal secretaries, law students, and those from the community.
