  • I thought they really rushed this piece. The pauses really accentuated the sense of serenity that's meant to be presented.

  • Beau Soir is the only piece she recorded in her two encore albums recorded 15 years apart. While her earlier version's slower, carefully measured, her later version's,as you can see from this video, freeer and airier (she once mentioned her earlier version was too rigid). Perhaps you would prefer her earlier version on 'Con Amore'

  • @Howitzer89 Exactly this peace is very rushed and the pauses are key in this peice, not only that she does not play with clarification to it nor does she play with the confidence and precision needed, it is week in the sence of how the bow is dragged alone the violin cords, not only that, it probably needed rosin, theonly thing for this peice is the dress she wears compliments the beauty of the song, otherwise, she murdered one of the most beautiful piano/violin pieces I know.

  • Aw, her little nod at the end is so cute!

  • @julieyeaeunxoflutist haha, love the strange image. so fitting :D

  • beauty and sensitivity

  • Beautiful interpretation I like the tempo not too slow and pressed btw the Heifetz arrangement is marked Andante ma non troppo.
