  • is that a red devon?

  • Nup, mother is a Black Angus, calf is a Belted Galloway (cross). The calf was too big for her, the breeds should have been compatible, she was just too young.

  • What an amazing video. What would have happend to the mother (Tulip) had the vet not been there to deliver the calf that it seems was determined not to come out. I felt a scence of relief to see the calf and mum finally at rest. The vet must himself must have been very concerned at the time

  • Hi IQBAND, the calf would have died (it was close) and then the mother would have died, cause we tried to get it out and we couldn't. Both are fine - its her first calf and she is pretty happy with herself. Thank god for the vet!

  • do you have any clips of the cow making the baby?

  • Nup, and probably wouldn't post it if I did. f

  • Great to see two lives saved. LOVE the music. I have the album ICE - Piano Slightly Chilled and I love it.

  • The pangs of childbirth.. beautiful and messy all at the same time.

  • Love the music.

  • But you know I would ;)

  • Pity, I could have REALLY enjoyed that, but this clip is still pretty hot. Thanky...
