Im not sure when this was made or whatever but if you still need an EGT probe I have an extra. Itll cost you about $Free.99 retail lol

@2001silverado363 Go with an LS6, it would probably be good for DD and wouldnt be that lope-y. I dont know much about LQ4's but even a monkey has to agree that an LS6 cam and ~241 heads would make that truck fucking sick.

@426rwhpC5 Very true, it's actually a lq4, I just say ls1 because it's an lsx based engine. I was thinking of putting a hot cam or ls6 cam it to, maybe some 241 heads, but I'm just so undecided.

But, that's still slower than my 6.0l ls1 in my 2500hd. I thought diesel was faster than that.

Hey sorry for the late response. Nope not one bit of smoke. I can only run the setup in 1-5 as i dont have the EGT probe put in yet.
Stock with the six gun in setting 5 on a warm day i would get a slight puff of black. Nothing you can see in your rearview but when my friend followed quick puff on spool up. Since then we have done the Banks LLY intake and Scoupe and what a difference it makes on the highway.

Hi, can I just ask why the speed is limited to 120 for such a big engine? Is it becuase it was designed to pull waight?
I would have thought it could clock 150 at least.

Im not sure the gauge only goes to 120Mph. I dunno the truck is on 35" wheels and is lifted like a 1" i dunno about doing 200km in this truck.
