@Rmg12 because american version is three times better... I mean.. UK version is top notch.. but US version is a different cup of coffee as far as I can tell and I saw both versions...

I prefer the US version. It was the first one I saw of the two and I think it's better.

Maybe that's just me. -shrug-

That, and the American 70s mean more to me than the British. :L And I like the actors in the American version better.

I agree this is completely awful, not only made a video based on an awful remake of a brilliant programme but to modern music too. the programme is called Life on Mars for a purpose and if your to make a video even for the us awful version you could at least get the music to fit the time period.

All I can suggest is that you you tube the uk version. I have to wonder why the USA have ruin British Classics. first the Office and now life on mars what next ashes to ashes.

@Rmg12 actually I do prefer the american version because I haven't seen the british one until I saw the american one. and I tend to like the first thing I see :D
