@IceTTom It's the other way around. The 1800 is a dual pin crank. And yes, the 1300 sounds much better!

Sounds deep, although one of the main reasons I bought a 1300 was how much better the duel pin crank sounds than the 1800's Single pin. Those Sampson's on a 1300 would sound WAY better in everyway, and not have that hollow tinny sound to them as in the video.

@IceTTom wouldn't doubt it, Your guess is as good as mine, and I owned that bike. lol

I've had all types of bikes. Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, Harley, scooter, moped, dirt bike... I can't even remember them all. If I had to choose a single bike that worked best for me, I'd have choose an 800cc dual purpose bike for both the economy as well as safety and comfort. You can gear an 800-ish bike to run all day at 75 mph with one person, get 50mpg on the freeway and be able to go from highway to dirt road to mud without problems. Then, just hose it off.

@Umaxen Sounds like a good plan to me.

1800cc's ? That's 900 cc's per cylinder. If you had that sized displacement in a V-8 car engine, it would equal 7200 cc's or about 440 cubic inches of displacement. That's huge!

@Umaxen Ha, Thats good to know. Thanks. Matter of fact the vtx is no longer mine, I'm looking for a boss hoss. :) So that 440 cubic inches will be here soon. lmao. I'll probally just get a ford racing 302 with ford racing across the heads. Only seen one ford so far. All the others are chevys. I like being different.
