This new green field hospital houses 150 all-private patient rooms on a 48-acre campus with an adjoining MOB.

The facility is designed to respect patient privacy and dignity, while promoting efficiency of use for caregivers and providing a welcoming environment for patients and their families. Circulation is arranged to separate public and patient travel and departments are positioned to maximize the functional relationships between them. Major ancillary services are aligned along exterior walls for ease of expansion.

The facility interiors are warm and welcoming. Art work fills the lobbies, corridors, and patient rooms. The use of clear story windows allows natural light to filter deep into the first floor interior. The application of native limestone on the exterior of the building rings familiar to this Texas community.

State of the art technology can be found throughout the hospital in wireless and digital technology, computerized drug dispensing, and in electronic medical records.
