  • Beautiful.

  • yeah... time and again

  • When I think of Le Cygne, the only person I see performing this piece is Mischa Maisky. Thank you so much for posting this clip.

  • i had to.. :-)

  • It looks like Roger Moore. Is it really him?

  • Sounds like a dieing swan...

  • Then it all ended and we had to go back to our world.

  • No matter how it's played, it's beautiful. I've heard many interpretations of this piece, and they all take my breath away. Yo Yo Ma's is slower, and more subtle. Maisky's is more crisp and concise. I love them both, but I prefer Maisky's.

  • Personally, I like his interpretation better than Yo Yo Ma.

  • Isn't Richard Hyung-ki Joo at the piano?

  • And probably the only time Misha will appear with Roger Moore aka Bond; James Bond! Beautiful interpretation! (Although Pablo Casals' was quite phenomenal too)

  • if you think moore ruined it go download it and cut it.

  • my second favorite cello piece after bach cello suite no 1 prelude
