This is my new brass n scale Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Cabar 6903 (my favorite) I recently got from look model. Here's the link to the page:
http://www.lookmodel.jp/b-surf.html
I think it was well worth the money and it is a really nice looking model. The wheels are a little squeeky, but that's nothing a little lubricant won't fix. Got it for 140 bucks plus a cafe for 110 which seems pretty reasonable to me. I'm not sure, but I believe the cabcar has directional lighting (haven't test run it on powered track yet). Once I get my N scale track set up in the next week, I'll make a video of my new "Surfliner" train with F59 450, my 2 new cars, and some kato sub-ins. Enjoy this for now and feel free to ask questions.

  • Hey CoasterFan2105,

Why does it cost SO MUCH for one little N Scale car! I mean you could buy a whole Amtrak or Metrolink HO Scale engine for only $99.98 its a BIG DIFFERENCE!

  • @trainwatcher17 because it's made out of brass, not plastic

  • Hey Buddy,

Where did you get that from? Its pretty cool!

  • @trainwatcher17 Thanks! Link is in the description

  • It's so expensive just for an Amtrak California car.

  • @RedLego391 Not really, considering they're brass.

  • I would get this but it is just too much money

  • @CoasterFan2105 thats the only websight that makes the transiton sleeper and pacific parlor in amtrak colers. they should make them out of plastic also so more people can afford them

  • @Tc4oregon It was a temporary layout. I think I actually took videos of it, but not sure what I did with them.

  • very nice paint work. brass is soft and has a relatively low melting point, making it ideal for casting models of great detail. it's also easy to etch, using printed-on coatings and acids, and that gives the brass modeler the potential for absolute prototypical detail reproduction, even in finer scales. you can do some really cool corrosion effects and even minor collision damage with brass, too. THUMBS UP IF YOU LOVE BEAT-LOOKING TRAINS ON YOUR LAYOUT

  • Where do you get that from??? ITS AWESOME!!!!!

  • @AmtrakTitan455 Where did you hear about them doing ho surfliners
