Great hobby ,I do it as a hobby too.Gives me something to do have been laid off for awhile I started out like you ,then i added a gear system to my dc generators.Pulleys and belts now mine makes 3and 4 times the power that they did .Just got thru with my 3rd wimdmill all the parts i use are free whatever i can find .Nice job have a great day .

We DO NOT adv something with you. (Being 6000 miles from your place!).
Just we mentioned that wood is not the best material for tower and show you wind that CAN BE.
So if you do not like, please simply remove our commenet.
Very nice and neat setup. What generator did you use, and what kind of output do you get from it? What kind of RPM's are we talkin'? Again, nice setup.

I had a 260 DC volt motor in it but lost a bairing in the turbine head and down she came.
I was getting about 14volt in a 15 to 20 knot the wind is not that grate In Michigan. Click on the image in the corner that is linked with my channel and see start to destruction.

Hmmm.... but it is not for winds as in our video responce....
2-2,5 m (D of rotor) has force about 200 kg on the top of tower, at strong wind.
