  • when i try to do it in a consist on dcc they just derail even at slow speeds

    If they aren't coupled with proper couplings (kadee etc.) then they will just derail (usually after corners).

    In this case, it was just set up for the video.

    Not sure what lights you mean:

    Signals are controlled from the control panel - so are the station lights.

    Train lights are DCC controlled, Class 170 doors open lights are F1 extra DCC function.

    They aren't coupled, they are running in consist.
