This footage is from CES and was taken in March 7th, 1991.
This is almost two months before the final build of Sonic 1 and has many never before seen differences in Green Hill Zone. The build also has different DAC samples.

That is awesome drxdrxrx, thanks for putting this up!! I got my Sega Genesis for Christmas in 1991, that was the first year that Sega packaged the Genesis with Sonic. I want to get another Genesis; games today just don't do it for me. The classics rule, IMO!
