This was a NO LIFT. He failed to do a full 360 turn.
-
His clean technique is just perfection.

@XhevdetMustafa and his wife is a snatch.
-
Why does he jerk in such a fashion?
-
@aks73 his second pull is pretty reckless the way he snaps his head back like that, it works for him and probably him only, so in a way it is perfection

Pyrros is my hero. But I must admit that in actual fact it may just be a No Lift, since he continues to move all through his attempt. Still, I was unable to find the rule in question in the IWF rule book. Does anyone know what the real minimum is for standing still with the barbell overhead?

@hgintern From the Technical and Competition rules section of the IWF rule book: "The Referees give the signal to lower the barbell as soon as the lifter becomes motionless in all parts of the body." So, the INSTANT that the athlete is deemed motionless, the referees can give the down signal; there is no minimum amount of time required for the athlete to remain still. Slightly subjective, yes, but for my money, this is actually a very fair no lift decision that follows the rules to a T.
