  • So how do you like it in the front? You just unlock your hubs to drive on pavement? Any binding or racheting or loss of steering during winter driving on snow covered roads in 4wd? I just bought one too.

  • I don't drive it in the winter, but otherwise yeah just unlock the hubs and its invisible. With the hubs locked in 2wd you can hear the locker unlock around corners if there is enough traction. If its snowy and slippery it won't unlock around corners and it doesn't like to turn.

  • The H2s and those Toyos look sharp.

  • The Aussie Locker is an excellent investment!

I have one in a 2003 Wrangler. When I first drove the Jeep with it, it felt like the front had 100% traction and you could feel it in the steering. It's a lifesaver where it snows and it's allowed me to pass other fake SUVs with ease on the road and off. It also helps to have a L.S. diff in the back also. Be sure to get axleshaft seals w/ zerk fittings for the front Dana axle as the factory ones are a joke and allow water intrusion.

    Good Luck all!
