  • If it was me i would want to die ,if it was my son i would do the same as Frances Inglis did.

  • Your a disgusting person, how can you say she deserves to rot in hell when what she did was put her son out of his misery. I wonder if you would still have the same view if you were the person lying that bed, totally unable to anything. Not living just surviving.

  • Well done for standing up to unfairness. I'd have done the same thing.

Keeping brain damaged people constantly alive is pure torture. She needs to be freed!!

  • Have you people actually researched the case? Thomas Inglis was actually showing promising signs of recovery, and he gave no consent to being killed in that horrible way. How in the hell did she know what he wanted.

And yes, ultradumbass, she has a minimum of 9 years in her life sentence so could get parole. Honestly, people i really hope you couldn't do this because it is murer, plain and simple.

  • What the Hell is the matter with the judge? Why didn't he show compassion and at least give her a minimum sentence. If the law on this situation was better considered, these situations would not arise. My heart bleeds for Francis Inglis. FREE HER NOW!!

  • is she at least going to be eligible for parole? or is this a no chance state?

  • @microsoft57 microsoft go blow your ass. or better yet, destroy your shitty computer company.

  • @madvicky1975 yup. i would do the same also. i would kill my children in extreme cases like this so they can at least die with dignity than live possibly 20 years in a state they will never recover from. i don't have children yet, so i hope it never happens, but i am prepared to do so even if i might go to jail for it.

  • we kill animals against their will, some of which are never sick. it's like saying animals don't get to choose if they want to live and humans don't choose if they want to die.

  • 'Doctors should decide when a patient should die - without reference to the patient's wishes, the wishes of the family, the opinion of other doctors, or any interference from the law' Dr Christian Barnard (the famous heart transplant pioneer) 1991

    What say you?

  • AlTNWT, I do suspect from microsoft57's comment that he/she is not far off a vegetative state!
