Mysterious creature in the ocean: Huntington Beach (2005)

At first I thought it was a whale, then I zoomed in with the camera and then saw that it wasn't. To this day, I don't know what it is. Anyone know what it is?

i was sitting in the back of a car and the car was moving. the further you zoom in on something the camera is more sensitive to shakiness, give me a break haha. its too big to be a seal though.

It's a rubber dredging tube. They used this particular one to dredge the newly opened channel just south of Sea Point Drive.
