transition in labor - vocalization

This is between 7cm and 10, about 11 hours into active labor. They had me laying on my side because there was swelling of my cervix. It was intense, but you can hear the relief and relaxation in my voice after the contraction finishes.

Oh my that did sound intense! Were you having back labor or was it just the pressure that you were feeling that made you so uncomfortable? you must have been so glad when that contraction ended!

no, it was just the pressure. i think that was right before i told the midwife i was ready to push..
