Senate Republican Policy Committee Chairman John Thune discusses health care reform in the Weekly Republican Address.
Sen. Thune urges "the right kind of reform," which protects doctors and hospitals from frivolous lawsuits and equalizes the tax code for individuals and employers.
Sen Thune warns that the Democrats' plans are "the mother of all unfunded mandates," as one Democrat governor put it, and expresses his concern about how it will affect the budgets of states like South Dakota.
HEALTH CARE COST GOES UP WITH CEO PROFITS. THE REPUBS ARE THE CEO LAB DOGS.
ITS TIME TO DROP THE LAP DOG RIGHT WING, THE MOTHERs OF CORPORATE GREED.

Trusting the Democrats with the national treasury is like trusting Micheal Vick with your pet dog!

It's going to bankrupt us. One out of four americans are obese with chronic back pain. We have a nation FULL of drug seeking. They ALL will be hospitalized for their dilaudid and morphine highs (legally). Trillions of dollars will be wasted on a nation full of drug seekers, and the nation full of obese. The doctors will live off of champagne and caviar and milk the public option-they already milk MEDICARE to the max-the cash cow--but the government titty ran DRY. NO TO PUBLIC OPTION!!!

The US system is now so atrocious that any reform can only be an improvement. Single-payer tax supported system NOW!

We're the only industrialized country that fails to provide health care for all its citizens. Insurance companies should be non-profit. I'll take government bureaucrats over insurance bureaucrats who would pull the plug on granny to save a dime a share for their sacred shareholders.

Republicans have offered nothing to this debate other than insighting fear.

Thune is the biggest kissass in the Repub party. He's just another gofer for the lies and the myths spread by a racist, ignorant small-minded group that has lost power, so now it spreads fear. Honestly, I consider the tactics used by this group to be just another form of terrorism. Scare the seniors and spread the venom of lies, because they have NO IDEAS of their own.

I have a great deal of respect for leaders that are standing up and speaking out against this. Now we need a reform plan that helps get the government even further away from healthcare so that the free market can do what it does best.
