Another way of drumming this: The start is the same. Once the bass drum starts, keep it that way. Once he starts singing, move it quicker to once every 2 beats. There on, maybe put 2 bass hits per second like Lithium has it, but keeping once in 2 beats. Don't put too much 2 bass per second within the measures. Be sure to but descrescendo like by slightly hitting the bass, but when it gets to once every 2 beats, it should have a full hit... or be creative in your own respect.
