Look at the language used in that wiki line. First, it doesn't have a source. Second, it says disqualified and suspended. Why would it have both of those? Not just one? It means that on multiple occasions he has been suspended for a time, and disqualified from certain events. Such as you would be disqualified for one sporting event, or suspended from school for a number of days. Such as Wafo Tapa was suspended for a year. Not banned.

@jamesfullard Look it up, Mike Long is not banned from MTG anymore. He just lost interest in the game. He was top-8ing in major events as recently as 2003, so there certainly would be some documentation in the proper place if he were currently suspended/banned. I believe he simply became disinterested in the game around 2005.

@jamesfullard Mike Long's name does not appear on the current list of suspended/banned DCI memberships. Just because he was once suspended, doesn't mean that he's banned. You think he's a 'cheating piece of shit', yet big names like Mark Rosewater think that he's Hall of Fame worthy. Yeah, when was the last time Mark Rosewater said that you were Hall of Fame worthy? Yeah, That's what I thought. Mike Long is one of the greatest MTG players. Ever.
