@raidernicky109 You missunderstood. I didnt say it s painful to shave (clip?) , I ve just said how horses feel without. Especially the hair around nose & mouth are like their eyes, they need it to navigate. Sorry, for my english, cant explain it any better.

@TheWolke205 I'm not quite sure where you got that information from. This horse is clearly not in any pain from being clipped. The pony I ride got his first clipping last year and he didnt react at all. Believe me, if this horse was feeling the pain youre describing, you would know it. However, clipping their muzzle can be an inconvenience to them because it helps them navigate due to their limited range of vision. As far as the ears go, the hair in the ears is to prevent bugs from getting in.
