It's a shame that Curly was so ill during the filming of this. He was 42 years old here, and died six years later. RIP Curly

@JohnSilverfan01 Well, before he joined the stooges, Curly used to work with Orville Knapp's orchestra where he was a conductor and he would sometimes sit in with the band and play instruments and sing so I still think he was really playing that double bass.

@NDW85 No. The only one playing for real was Larry. In fact Larry was said to play almost any instrument he could get his hands on. But the violin was his top.
