Kevin Carr covers "Surf's Up" premier for Access Hollywood

On Monday, June 4, I appeared on Access Hollywood as a guest correspondent. I won a chance to cover a premier for Access through a charity auction. On Saturday, June 2, 2007, I went to cover the premier of "Surf's Up", an animated film featuring penguins (and a chicken). I interviewed the stars as they arrived. It was very exciting, as I had the very first spot in line. Meaning, in this long line of 25 or so positions the stars would visit, I got them first! I had never done anything like this before and quickly realized it was serious business. I was there with a producer, a camera operator and a sound man but there was no other on-air talent to back me up. Once these people started arriving in their limo's and piling up to be interviewed the pressure was on. I would introduce myself and then fire away with my questions, some planned some not.
