I am tired of seeing gay people get picked on. I saw a commercial this evening about this subject and decided to make a video. Comments are more than welcome. In fact, I encourage them. If you make any threatening, childish or stupid comments they will be deleted and you WILL be blocked. This is a discussion, not a heated debate.

  • Thanks marclargirl!!!

JCiznum1, good question. I have to admit I have made jokes in the past, however, I try my best not to say anything like that anymore. We all must be more aware of the people surrounding us. I believe that the jokes & phrases should be squashed.

  • I feel saying that something is gay should not be used. It is a very derogatory way of putting things. You bring a very valid point with this. You know how I stand on the subject, but we should not condemn or judge a person for how they choose to live their life. We need to be a witness and be caring of them.

  • Bravo :)

  • I love the way you put this. Having several gay relatives has changed my perspective on the subject. In the Bible the famous verse that says homosexuality is an abomination, is followed immediately by the verse that says eating shellfish is an abomination. I think anyone has the power to choose how they wish to live. It's not our place to degrade, look down on, or judge others for their sexual orientation. If this world has to have Christians, I wish they were all like you and Melissa H!

  • Do you think the limiting of "gay bullying" should include the restriction of heterosexuals making gay jokes about each other? Because what if a person who is struggling with their sexual identity/preferences overhears these jokes and that portrays how you feel about that person. Should the derogatory phrase "that is so gay" be buried?

  • Good Job Daniel:)
