  • Thank you maestro Leonhardt

  • Dear Gustav,

What I discovered in the years of older life is your talent for so many things. My respect for both harpsichord and clavecimbel came to me. I really loved the soft way of expressing. Then I thought some time later about fine music. Baroque has my preference. These two fabulous instruments informed me a bit about the beauty of Bach's works, endlessly beautifull keeping a lot of joy in me. That's how I discovered your talents and abilities and deep respect for people. Thanks a lot!

  • Having known him as a conductor who calls for authenticated Baroque period instruments and vocal interpretation styles, it's not so surprising to find his taste depicted in this harpsichord solo although I prefer Bach's motets and cantatas over pure instrument performances. A great musician and artist, Gustav!

  • The last piece the great man played in public. What artistry.

  • A most appropriate tribute to a great musician.

  • and everything, is sooooo much,.. thanks Gustav...we love you

  • We will never forget about his devotion to music...So sad such a great musician passed away.
