@quainhankid14 - construction quality of Fenders is actually better than Gibson and much cheaper too. Gibson way over rated for the price you pay. Gibsons aren't quite finished as well as they should be just little things that really shouldn't be like that like fret seating or paint finish or joining just not quite there. Not better enough to charge almost twice a fender no way

@quainhankid14 - I recommend them. Got an '88 Strat Plus play it through a late 60's Vox AC30 beautiful sound also play a '52 Tele through it, both superb guitars. The Teles are brilliant for rock as well. Got a mid 70's Les Paul but it is too heavy for a full gig and your shoulder hurts after a couple of hours. If you like to have both Gibson and Strat cause you love the sounds then try a Paul Reed Smith you'll get both Fender and Gibson sounds. Save your pennies and keep practising.
