  • Hooray for the Beetle at 0:50 !

  • @runescapers25 , Google the word "Locost" and go from there!

  • what kind of engines in that? it looks like it has a vw coolant reservoir

  • @ravman690 It's called the gocart run eveyone does one. This is a shake down to check the mechanicals. But mostly it's a chance taste the fruits of your labor and keep the momentum going. The other obligatory shot is the vroom vroom shot. You sitting in the just completed chassis still on the build table hands on imaginary steering wheel and shifter going... VROOM!! VROOM!!!

  • @runescapers25 All the people I know who "have one" Actually built theirs from scratch, more or less. It actually shouldn't be too hard to find the exact chassis specs and dimensions online. The Rest you could go and buy the official kit part's or does some substitution fabrication with other car parts. A fella I know built his own frame out of tube. His rear end is a modified ford 8.8 inch solid axle, a modified Datsun Manual rack and pinion steering, and a Honda Type R motor.

  • @ChronoCrossKid

    How about a LS9 engine? =)

  • great sound !!! :)

  • i might try my hand at one of these. but for some reason i wanna use a small block ford V8, or a turbo 4.9L ford I6

  • nice racing shoes!
