Over the recent months they have given him some pretty squeaky clean coverage and lots of attention.
Maybe im just jumping the gun here but i have seen this movie over and over.
Powell will get no pass from me, his crucial testimony about Iraqi WMD's eliminated any kinda chance of that.

@bednek56 In all actuality idiot, he HAS NOT raised taxes. He promised to raise taxes on the wealthiest 2% that hold in excess of 40% of the US wealth but GOP ass holes made him compromise(he had to give a little in order to get damn near nothing). Fact: taxes will have to be raised in order to properly service the national debt and become fiscally responsible. America had bills to pay and the rich are not contributing!!!

@boots920 Hmmm. If you were smart, you would question the intelligence that was passed on to him before he tried to persuade the UN into backing the US against Saddam Hussein. The information that HE was passing on to the UN was based on CIA intelligence. As the US Secretary of State, he was considered the primary US ambassador and as such had an obligation to pass the information on to the international community(THE UN) to build a case against Hussein. Obama claims that his spending is reasonable better than Reagan. He proposed 3.7 Trillion with a deficit of 1.4 Trillion for 2011. Currently based on usdebtclock org, the debt/GDP is 97.2%. Obama in two years of office increased the debt/GDP by 13.8%.
