A beautiful day with my Dad. After flying the fast planes down at the local flying field, (and this glider) we went home for lunch. I heard a terrible noise from the motor, so we took it apart and the magnet on the shaft was broken. We modified and shortened it from 40mm to 27mm long and put all back together. This flight was the first with modified motor same day. Dad is retired now, and enjoys the ability of flying his planes right out the back door (RC Modeler's heaven) his back yard is my personal favorite place to fly. This is the ARF version of The Bird of Time and it flies very well. It has a Hacker in-runner with inline planetary gear box and a 5200 Mah 2-cell Lipo pack, a 12/8.5 APC folding prop. I used velcro to attach the Turnigy camera on the side of fuselage under wing on C/G. We land within seconds of a major down pour... What a perfect ending to a perfect day..!!! Thanks Dad!
