Very cool throw!

It is not te- Guruma. This throw came from Caucasian wrestling. In judo you don't have name to this throw. Maybe gyaku uchi mata , but in canon of Judo throw you do not have this throw. The right name for this throw could be georgian pick up. In Georgian right name is Gadavlia, Gadavleba, Khabarelli throw. In Sambo you can call this : Budok or podbiv bedro. In judo / japan jiu jitsu - Gyaku uchi mata

It is a Obi tori ashi dori
-
That's the Georgian pick up, isn't it? There's a section on it in Alexander Iatskevich's Russian Judo book.

Not too dangerous; just too effective. In other grappling sports like wrestling, BJJ, MMA as well as judo for many people the preferred takedown is ending up to be a "leg " attack. Judoka's "real" throws will obviously improve, however they better be since they will have essentially near to no experience in defending against leg attacks.
-
@sombojoe is it too dangerous?
-
They have the new IJF rules for the purpose of making Judo more visually like Judo to people whom may be watching the sport, and less like wrestling, kind of a way to pretty it up, along with the elimination of the koka score, you instead of just leg picks and leg moves you see more actual throwing and more in a sense like Judo.
lol that must of hurt!
