These are inexpensive sheet metal brakes. They are suitable for the home work shop. It does take time to set these up so that I get the desired results, namely a shape brake or bend.

    Appreciate the comment. April 17 2013 - just got a Harbor Freight coupon via email. 30" brake $35.00. That is half what I paid for my 30". Even at $70.00 it was a good buy.

    Will check into that, I am investigating making custom copper window planter boxes for our 125 year old apartment building. Not much sheet metal experience.

    My best successes with sheet metal projects is when I take it real slow and think everything through. Like the carpenter's rule: "measure twice and cut once".

    My shop can get rather humid so I keep the brake in the box it came in. Once in awhile I give it a few squirts of WD-40.
