these people are telling the truth there is almost nothing in cleveland unless you have a driving licence and when you go for a job you are either over qualifide or under i grew up in middlesbrough what was know as then as over the border and a lot of my friends are now dead some drugs some taking their own lives when did this country become a nanny state what happend to a free country ??? and where are all the jobs that have been promised for the north east????

Well I am the guy in the red and black Tshirt!!! I look back at this video and appreciate every decision that I made. The friends that I had in this video will always remain very important to me, but I had to make drastic and important decisions to change my circumstances ...now living in SA, married, two beautiful children and own, my own house with swimming pool and still maintain the qualities of my childhood in Stockton....they are what have driven me to succeed! Would LOVE to do a update!

I go past Portrack every week... it's the same state as it's in since 1995 (and probably before that). The only difference now is that the youths there DON'T want to work. I feel sorry for the lads interviewed here.... their lives must be a lot worse now.

Stockton Bourough Council.... a council that only cares for minorites and the upper/middle class.
