American Investors having the stupid foresight of having the American dream in Mexico get rude awakenings when they are attacked with Molotav Cocktails, death treats and attacks with machetes and finally thrown off their land Forceably and with complete complicity of the local authorities!!!
According to the local judge and the governors people, "the video does not show a crime being being committed merely represents a social problem that the attorney general's office does not fix" This according to the Sonoran Government represents a problem between two private parties. Arrest warrants have finally been issued but will NOT be served because they are scared to rile up the people that do not do not have title to the land but want to steal it!!!
Beware of investing in Mexico. Most people say " don't leave your brains at the border when you cross; I say leave your wallet at the border and don't purchase real estate in Mexico, especially Sonora where American rights are NON EXISTENT. GO invest in Big Bear, the locals wont attack you with molotav coctails and machetes!!

well, in the mexican constitution i don't quite remember wich law was it, but if i remember correctly it prohibits foreing citizens the rigth to own land close to any sea shores within the country of Mexico.

MExican title insurance is the biggest croc of crap there is for an American buying Mexican property. It covers NOTHING if ANY fraud is detected!! NOTHING!!! Ask all those poor people that purchased in Rocky point with American title insurance.

After three years of and 250K invested in the fight alone I think it is a little deeper than whining. It is my mission to let everybody know what can potentially happen when one's investment takes a turn for the worse and seeks justice in Sonora Mexico. My beef is not with Mexico, just with the state of Sonora! The DRE for Arizona is also looking it to the matter of Fraud in Sonora, Mexico against the residents of Arizona. The ejido previously lost in the Agrarian court.

Roblo Because you have been there and there are signs everywhere that states EJIDO land and that means that it is Ejido land? Wow, you must be a genius!!! Sounds like you must be a Mexican lawyer too! or you must be an ejido member if you believe that too. "Ejido" lands are formed, they are only formed by presidential decree! Not by throwing people off their lands with VIOLENCE! and posting a sign claiming ownership, They are finally going to jail because our title says we are the owners!
