Shadow Hearts - Yamaraja: Earth

Your first true boss battle, and one that can put up a fight.

First off, don't be fooled by the name, Yamaraja Earth is actually water element. This is the case with all other Yamarajas you face.

His normal attacks do in the region of 25 damage a piece, which hurts a lot. He also uses Flash Flood and Large Whirlpool, which is his most annoying attack, as it hits everyone and can also reduce the size of the hit area on the judgement ring.

I'd suggest buying some phoenix tails for this fight, to cancel out his ring abnormality. Because he's water element, Zhuzhen will be your main form of attack. Have him constantly use Ogre Flamedance on Yamaraja. Have Yuri fuse with your strongest monster (Death Emperor in this case,) and have Alice constantly heal you up.

If you're good enough, the ring abnormality won't affect you, so you can concentrate on just healing up, and not waste a turn using a phoenix tail. Not exactly my best run with this boss (Alice goes berserk and Yuri dies, guh!)
