I lived in both WV and NC and all cops I met (many) were pro gun. Get the permit, practice, mentally prepare, and when the SHTF, take action! Everyone seems happy here on this vid.

@DGar1990 He didn't say that they should have gone.. He said that he had the right to defend himself with the gun, Which is a totally diferent thing.

@jimrbsn I disagree. Its commonly believed that the "Fast and Furious" guns to Mexico program under Obama's admin was a thinly vieled attempt to persude Americans of the need for gun control due to the majority of guns going to the Mexican drug lords coming from the U.S. He knew he was unable to get it in the front door because of all of us "Clinging to our guns and religion so he tried to backdoor it. His gun control policy is about the only "transparent" part of his administration.

Since Obama has been in office it has become Legal for U.S. citizens to carry firearms in National Parks as well as many other places. I'm not aware of any attempts by the Pres. to take our 2nd amendment rights away in the last 3 years.
During the previous administration we got the "patriot act" which allows the Gov. to detain US citizens without due process for merely being "suspected" of "terrorist activity"....
which congress just extended.

The purpose of our 2nd amendment is not about protecting ourselves from criminals, It's about protecting ourselves from our government, if that government ever turned against us we have a way to overthrow it. We learned that from our experience as a colony.
Pretty sure the UK is now looking at knife control. The bad guys will always find a way to hurt the innocent.

@itsybitsy113 That cop deserves a standing ovation. You don't hear many cops saying they believe citizens should have guns. Most of them think only cops should be the ones to be armed. Even with a 2nd amendment

Another reason why if they ever try to make guns illlegal we need to fight against it. Criminals will ALWAYS have guns.
