Pretty much worthless unless you practice every week with it and hit your target.
Although I own a .380, (highly underrated) I can put all 9 rounds on target in 3" center mass in 1.7 seconds. YES, ALL 9 ROUNDS IN 1.7 seconds on target.
In the time it takes this girl to get her gun, and struggles to hit her target in a life threatening situation, I would already have filled my target 9 TIMES with Hollow Points and moping up the mess while I prepare donuts for the cops who will show up in 15

As a long time shooter I would suggest starting her out in the sport with a .22 LR pistol, thats way too much gun for a new shooter. Keep the slide closed when you put the magazine in otherwise you have a round in the chamber. Finger off the trigger too !
