Great Video, Aquaman. Thanks for helping me to better understand how my R/O water filter system works. I don't have the PuroTwist 3000 but I get the jist of how the system works now, thanks to you. Keep up the great work!

thank you for this informative video. I am a new Journeyman plumber and Im going to an interview to become a RO installer. I hope this will help me in the interview to prove that I know a thing or two about installing an RO System.
Even though I have never installed on in my life. Do you also have a Water softener system installation video?

I bought one Ro without salt valve, is it easy to add and install this salt valve if it is not supplied with the RO system? Thanks

Thank you very much. You answered my question on how to change an air gap faucet to a non air gap faucet.

thank you for the video it saved my hide
That's not a dumb question, just a common one. Yes, you can avoid using the air gap faucet and send your drain line directly to the drain. Doing this eliminates the safety feature of the air gap though.

I have a really dumb question. I don't have a faucet, but it looks like I do have a chrome air gap cover (with a hole in the counter/sink for the drainage hose). Can I just connect the waste hose directly to the waste disposal? and then use that hole for the faucet?

@kimheejin78 Yes, you can run the drain line directly to the drain, but if you do this you will no longer have the safety feature of the air gap.
