@MrCzechers yeah public germ paranoia really helps big industry get their unfair food safety laws passed. it's a wonder how the human race survived on raw milk for thousands and thousands of years before pasteurization was invented. you'd think raw milk would have killed us all off or something the way people fear it now.

our bodies know what to do with germs. we couldn't live without them in fact. they digest our food for us believe it or not, including e coli and salmonella.

@MrCzechers yeah pasteurization has been around a lot longer than our gang. but you could buy raw milk in the store clear into the 1980's, my mom used to buy it. you had to shake it up because it would separate, and it went bad after only a few days. but it was supposedly healthier for you. pasteurization standards that led to the banning of raw milk were more about putting small dairies out of business than food safety.

The milk wasnt spoiled, it was actually glue. Still not a good reason to drink it, though. I wonder if milk was pasteurized back then.
