Clean and Lube Your Bike Chain!

Hello, I'm sharing you some tips to keep your bicycle chain clean and well lubricated. Clean and well lubricated chain performed better under stress and during long haul journeys. Your bicycle chain will last longer and you will save money. Not only that, it provides you smooth pedal acceleration and gear changes. You wouldn't want a creaky rusty chain that will slow you down right? Maintaining a bicycle chain is simple and won't take much of your time if you do it often. So let us begin. You will need a can of WD40 (or any degreaser) and a can of good quality grease, meant for chains. It will be great if you have a used toothbrush to brush off the dirt on the chain. The WD40 use to clean the debris that sticks to the chain whilst the grease lubricates the chain. Apply the WD40 generously and wipe off the excess oil using a rug. The dirt will comes off as you wipe the chain as shown in the video. After ensuring the chain is free from the WD40 oil, apply the grease on the top, along the chain. Use a cloth to spread the lubricant to all surfaces of the chain. Importantly, the lubricant must enter the inner part of the chain where the joints are. You can then remove excess lubricants after ensuring that the lubricants settle in, between the chains. The chain is now clean and well lubricated. Enjoy your ride! I use a tooth brush so why would u use that just to clean a chain
